NATHANIEL - MARCH OF REMEMBRANCE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Nathaniel Foundation gives multiple scholarships away each year to students at SMU.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

March of Remembrance is an international organization that honors the survivors and victims of the Holocaust while promoting healing and reconciliation between victims and perpetrators, and their descendants.

We are happy to present our 2025 Nathaniel March of Remembrance Scholarship theme this year: Antisemitism on University CampusesReflect on personal experiences, fears, hopes and/or solutions through poetry, essay, journalism, visual art or music. Written essays are limited to 1500 words. Photographs and dimensions of the artwork are required.

The Nathaniel Foundation has established the following guidelines.

  1. Only currently enrolled SMU students are eligible to submit.
  2. While we appreciate healthy debate, this isn’t a platform for any attempt to oppose the veracity of the Nazi genocide of European Jewry. The entries shall not be used as a political statement, a publicity stunt, or as an outlet for religious mockery.
  3. The student applicant must attend the March of Remembrance event. Scholarship winners will be announced at the event and top winners will be published on this website after the march. Register for the march here >>
  4. Only one submission per student will be accepted.
  5. Deadline for submissions is midnight on March 21st, 2025.

Congratulations to all of our 2024 winners!
